Auditing a Learner for a Qualification checks to see whether the Learner has met the requirements for that Qualification. You can audit Learners singly or set up LRM to automatically audit a Learner on completion of a unit enrolment.
Note: When you change a Learner’s Major, Wisenet automatically audits the Learner for the new Major.

What happens during an audit
Wisenet checks whether a Learner has met the requirements for the Qualification they are enrolled in.
Wisenet also calculates the Grade Point Average (GPA) on the Qualification Enrolment.
How the GPA is calculated
- Identify all completed, unexpired Unit Enrolments (see note) linked to the Qualification Enrolment
- Retrieve the Grade Point value for each Unit Enrolment
- If there is no Grade Point value, exclude the Unit Enrolment
- Calculate the mean Grade Point value:
- Sum of all Grade Points divided by number of Unit Enrolments

Audit Outcomes
- No Majors Achieved
- Learner has not completed requirements for any Major under the Qualification they are enrolled in.
- Learner cannot receive the Qualification, unless they are awarded special consideration.
- Assigned Major Achieved
- Learner has completed the requirements for Major they are enrolled in.
- Learner can receive the Qualification
- Other Majors Achieved
- Learner has not completed the requirements for the Major they are enrolled in, but they have completed requirements for one or more other Majors under the Qualification they are enrolled in.
- Learner could switch their Major to one they have met the requirements for and receive the Qualification, or be awarded special consideration
- All Majors Achieved
- Learner has completed requirements for all Majors under the Qualification they are enrolled in. This includes the Major they are signed up to, and any other Majors under the Qualification
- Learner can receive the Qualification
- Learner could switch to any other Major and receive the Qualification

Audit a single Learner from Selected Qualification > Enrolments page
- Navigate to LRM > Scope > Qualifications
- Search for the relevant Qualification
- Navigate to Selected Qualification > Enrolments
- Click on the Audit Enrolment icon for the relevant Learner
- It may take a few moments to complete.

Audit a single Learner from Selected Enrolment > Detail page
- Navigate to LRM > Learners > Selected Qualification Enrolment > Detail.
- Click Action > Audit Enrolment.

Set up automatic auditing upon Unit Enrolment completion
- Navigate to LRM > Settings > LRM (under App Settings)
- Set the Auto Qual Audit toggle to YES
When Automated Qual Auditing is enabled, a Qual Audit event will be raised each time a Unit Enrolment is updated where
- Unit Enrolment Status = Completed
- Unit Enrolment Expiry Date is NULL or in the future
Unit Enrolments that do not match this logic will not raise Qual Audits.
