How To Add Unit Offers

Units attached to a Course Offer are known as Unit Offers. They inherit key information such as delivery location, funding information and dates from the Course Offer. These value can then be modified as required per Unit Offer.

Before you begin:

Required Knowledge: Units, Course Offers

Required LRM Access: Admin

Required Pre-Steps: Course Offer

Add Unit Offer from Search page

  1. Navigate to LRM > Offers > Unit Offers
  2. Click Add Unit Offer
  3. Select a Unit
  4. Select a Course Offer 
  5. Click Continue
  6. Fill in the details for the new Unit Offer
  7. Click Save
  8. Your Unit Offer has been created and you are now on the Selected Unit Offer > Details page.

  1. Navigate to LRM > Offers > Selected Course Offer > Unit Offers
  2. Click Add Unit Offer
  3. A list of Units for that Course that do not yet have Unit Offers will appear
  4. Select one or more Units
  5. Click Add Unit Offers

If the relevant Unit is not displaying, you will need to add it to the Course.

Note

  • Unit Offer start and end dates will default to the Course Offer start and end date. It is recommended that you modify the Unit Offer start and end dates where you are setting up a Course Offer for Fixed Date Enrolment types or where you are setting a Course Offer for Short Courses. This allows the Learner to have correct Unit Enrolment dates immediately on enrolment.
