Unit Offers represent the specific delivery of a unit for a new intake, term, or semester. While Unit Offers can inherit key information (such as delivery location, funding information, and dates) from a Course Offer, Unit Offers can now be created completely independent of Course Offers. This gives you the flexibility to link a Unit Offer to one, or multiple Course Offers.

Add Unit Offer from the Unit Offers Search Page

Navigate to LRM > Offers > Unit Offers
Click Add Unit Offer to open the quick-add popup
Select a Unit from the dropdown list (Required)
Select Course Offers. This is a multi-select field, meaning you can select one or many active/pending Course Offers, or leave it blank to create an independent Unit Offer (Optional)
Click Add to continue to the full Add New Unit Offer details page.
- If creating an AVETMISS or SDR Unit Offer, ensure to complete the relevant fields in the Reporting, Compliance and Fees section.
- If creating a Unit of Study Offer, ensure to complete the TCSI fields in the Reporting, Compliance and Fees section.
On the details page, you can review your setup.
- Tip: The Unit name displayed at the top now acts as a link. Clicking it will open the Unit details page in a new tab for easy cross-referencing.
- You can also use the Course Offers card to manage or adjust the one or many Course Offers you chose to link.
Fill in the specific details for the new Unit Offer
Click Save

Advanced Feature: You can use the Linked Unit Offers section to define Parent and Child relationships between different Unit Offers. See Linked Unit Offers (Parent/Child Relationships)

Add Unit Offers from Course Offer > Unit Offers page

Navigate to LRM > Offers > Selected Course Offer > Unit Offers
Click Add Unit Offer
This opens a drawer where you can choose one of the following options:

Option 1

Add New Unit Offers

Create new unit offers directly from the course’s available unit list.

Select one or more units using the checkboxes
Click Add Unit Offers

Note: Unit Offer start and end dates will default to the Course Offer start and end date. It is recommended that you modify the Unit Offer start and end dates where you are setting up a Course Offer for Fixed Date Enrolment types or where you are setting a Course Offer for Short Courses. This allows the Learner to have correct Unit Enrolment dates immediately on enrolment.

If the relevant Unit is not displaying, you will need to add it to the Course.

Option 2

Copy Unit Offers from Another Offer

Copy unit offers from an existing Course Offer.

Search for your source Course Offer.
Review the selected unit offers, and click Next.
Configure the following:
1. Copy Options > Select All will select all copy options so all available settings, dates, checklists, and related information are copied to the new Unit Offers.
2. Unit Offer Code: Choose how the Unit Offer code for the new unit offers should be generated.
  1. Copy from selected Unit Offers: Uses the same Unit Offer code as the source Unit Offer being copied.
  2. Set from Unit Code plus suffix: Generates a new Unit Offer code using the Unit Code and an additional suffix you specify. Useful when creating a new delivery period, intake, or version. (e.g. BSB101_T1_2026). Just enter the required suffix. (e.g. _T1_2026).
3. Copy Child Unit Offers: Copies any Child Unit Offers linked to the selected Unit Offers and creates corresponding Child Unit Offers under the new parent Unit Offers. See Linked Unit Offers (Parent/Child Relationships)
4. Set Unit Offer dates from the selected Course Offer: Updates the new Unit Offer start and end dates to match the dates of the selected Course Offer.
5. Set Unit Offer details from the selected Course Offer: Copies relevant details from the selected Course Offer to the new Unit Offer, helping ensure consistency between the Course Offer and its associated Unit Offers.
6. Copy Checklists across for each Unit Offer: Copies any checklists attached to the source Unit Offers to the new Unit Offers.
7. Copy Enrolment Checklist Templates for each Unit Offer: Copies enrolment checklist templates from the source Unit Offers to the new Unit Offers.
Click Confirm Copy Unit Offers.
