How to Set Up Cahoot Connector

Cahoot uses the Assessment Submission pathway (part of Data Submissions) to submit assessment data to Wisenet.

If you cannot see the Cahoot app in LRM > Settings > Wisenet Marketplace, log a support request.

Required Wisenet Access: Owner

Connect Wisenet to Cahoot

Obtain from Cahoot:

  1. Site
  2. Username
  3. Password
  4. Version

NOTES:

  • You need to contact Cahoot support directly to obtain these.

  1. Navigate to LRM > Settings > Wisenet Marketplace (under Integration)
  2. Click All to see all apps.
  3. On the Cahoot card, click Connect.

  1. Under the Cahoot Connector Details, enter:
    • Site
    • Username
    • Password
    • Version
  2. Click Connect

Set up Assessment Submissions for Cahoot

These are the Assessment Submission Set Up steps, with Cahoot-specific information.

Create an Assessment Submission Type

  1. Navigate to LRM > Settings > Dropdown Lists (under Configuration) > Assessment Submission Types
  2. Click Add Assessment Type
  3. Enter Cahoot as the name
  4. Set the Is Active toggle to YES
  5. Enter cahoot as the External Reference

Create 4 x Custom Fields to add to the Assessment Versions

  1. Navigate to LRM > Settings > Custom Fields (under Configuration)
  2. Click Add Custom Field

Custom Field #1

  1. In the Entity field, select Unit Enrolment.
  2. In the Field Type, select Text Field
  3. In the Name field, enter Live Webinar Percentage Attended
  4. In the Description field, enter Live Webinar Percentage Attended
  5. Set the Is Secure toggle to NO
  6. (Premium customers) adjust the Is Visible toggle (see note)
  7. Click Save

Custom Field #2

  1. In the Entity field, select Unit Enrolment.
  2. In the Field Type, select Text Field
  3. In the Name field, enter Live Webinar Date Completed
  4. In the Description field, enter Live Webinar Date Completed or similar
  5. Set the Is Secure toggle to NO
  6. (Premium customers) adjust the Is Visible toggle (see note)
  7. Click Save

Custom Field #3

  1. In the Entity field, select Unit Enrolment.
  2. In the Field Type, select Text Field
  3. In the Name field, enter Recorded Webinar Percentage Viewed
  4. In the Description field, enter Recorded Webinar Percentage Viewed
  5. Set the Is Secure toggle to NO
  6. (Premium customers) adjust the Is Visible toggle (see note)
  7. Click Save

Custom Field #4

  1. In the Entity field, select Unit Enrolment.
  2. In the Field Type, select Text Field
  3. In the Name field, enter Recorded Webinar Date Completed
  4. In the Description field, enter Recorded Webinar Date Completed
  5. Set the Is Secure toggle to NO
  6. (Premium customers) adjust the Is Visible toggle (see note)
  7. Click Save

Is Visible toggle

  • Is Visible = ON: Custom Field will appear in the Custom Fields section.
  • Is Visible = OFF: Custom Field will not appear in the Custom Fields section, but will still be visible in the data submission.

Customers on Premium edition can see Custom Fields in the Custom Fields section, or they can choose to make some Custom Fields visible only in Data Submissions.

Customers on Standard editions can only use Custom Fields for Data Submissions.

Create 2 x Assessment Versions

  1. Navigate to LRM > Settings > Dropdown Lists (under Configuration) > Assessment Submission Versions
  2. Click Add Assessment Version

Assessment Version #1:

  1. Enter Live Session as the name
  2. In the Assessment Type field, select Cahoot
  3. Select Unit Enrolment as the Entity
  4. Set the Is Active toggle to YES
  5. Set the Are manual results allowed? toggle to NO
  6. Enter live-session as the External Reference
  7. Add Result Field #1:
    1. Field name: Live Webinar Percentage Attended
    2. External reference: PercentageAttended
  8. Add Result Field #2:
    1. Field name: Live Webinar Date Completed
    2. External reference: DateTimeCompleted
  9. Click Save.

Assessment Version #2:

  1. Enter Recorded Session as the name
  2. In the Assessment Type field, select Cahoot
  3. Select Unit Enrolment as the Entity
  4. Set the Is Active toggle to YES
  5. Set the Are manual results allowed? toggle to NO
  6. Enter recorded-session as the External Reference
  7. Add Result Field #1:
    1. Field name: Recorded Webinar Percentage Viewed
    2. External reference: PercentageViewed
  8. Add Result Field #2:
    1. Field name: Recorded Webinar Date Completed
    2. External reference: DateTimeCompleted
  9. Click Save.

Ensure the External References in the Result Fields exactly match what is shown here.
