How To Delete a Unit

Deleting a Unit is not always recommended.

You must remove all connecting relationships prior to deleting a Unit.

Before you begin:

Required Knowledge: Units

Required LRM Access: Owner, Admin

Before deleting a Unit

You can remove a Unit from a Course by deleting the CourseUnit. This removes the link between the Course and Unit but preserves the Unit.

How to remove a Unit from a Course

Ensure:

  1. All related Unit Offers have been deleted
  2. Any documents attached to the Unit have been deleted

Delete a Unit

  1. Navigate to LRM > Scope > Units
  2. Search and select the Unit
  3. Click Action > Delete
  4. Click Ok.

If you receive a message advising that child relationships exist, it means that there are still Unit Offers or documents attached to the Unit. Delete these and try again.
