How To Save an Unlinked Email to a Logbook

When an email is sent into LRM without specifying a Logbook, or the specified Logbook is not found (e.g., it has been deleted), the email arrives in the Unlinked Emails page. From here you can manually save the email into the correct Logbook.

Locate the email you wish to save to a logbook
  1. Use the search bar OR scroll through the list to find the relevant email.

Link to Logbook

EITHER:

  1. Click Link to Logbook on the right-hand side of the logbook item.

OR:

  1. Click on the logbook name to open the email.
  2. At the bottom of the email, click Link to Logbook.

Choose which Logbook you wish to link the email to

On the Link to Logbook popup, click on the dropdown menu. Choose one of the following logbook categories:

  • Agent
  • Course / Course Offer
  • Learner / Course Enrolment / Unit Enrolment
  • Organization
  • Sales Contact
  • Staff
  • Unit / Unit Offer
  • Workplace

TIP: Depending on which logbook category you select, you will have slightly different options. Find out more below.

If you have chosen:

Learner/Course Enrolment/Unit Enrolment

A second dropdown menu will appear.

  1. Search the relevant Learner.
  2. A third dropdown menu will appear.

EITHER

  1. Ignore the third dropdown menu
  2. Click Link to link to the Learner

OR

  1. Search the relevant Course Enrolment in the third dropdown menu
  2. A fourth dropdown menu will appear.

EITHER

  1. Ignore the fourth dropdown menu
  2. Click Link to link to the Course Enrolment

OR

  1. Search the relevant Unit Enrolment in the fourth dropdown menu
  2. Click Link to link to the Course Enrolment

Course/Course Offer OR Unit/Unit Offer

A second dropdown menu will appear.

  1. Search the relevant Course / Unit.
  2. A third dropdown menu will appear.

EITHER

  1. Search the relevant Course Offer / Unit Offer in the third dropdown menu
  2. Click Link to link to the Course Offer / Unit Offer

OR

  1. Ignore the third dropdown menu
  2. Click Link to link to the Course / Unit

Agent OR Sales Contact OR Staff OR Workplace

A second dropdown menu will appear.

  1. Search the relevant Agent / Sales Contact / Staff / Workplace
  2. Click Link.

Organisation Logbook

  1. Click Link

NOTE: the Organisation Logbook is found in LRM > Settings > Logbook.
