Industry Training Register (ITR)

Introducing ITR

ITR stands for Industry Training Register. The ITR is an online real-time tool that collects trainee and apprenticeship data from organisations that receive funding from the Industry Training Fund. The TEC then uses this information to calculate the organisation’s funding and monitor their educational performance.

Organisations that are approved for this funding are called ITOs which stands for Industry Training Organisations.

Please note: Wisenet does not have an integration with ITR online. You can use the different reports we have built based on the ITR specifications document to download and submit the data about the learner, their training agreement, their training plan (if they are an apprentice), programmes they are enrolled in and the status of their training.

You can choose to work with third party developers to build an integration using our API end points.

If you receive funding from the Industry Training Fund, you can access the ITR online through the Ministry of Education’s Education Sector Logon (ESL) service.

How to get started?

Before you start enrolling learners into Wisenet, it is important to understand the file structures and the information to be reported to ITR. We have built specific ITR reports that allow you to download data about the learner, their training agreement, their training plan (if they are an apprentice), programmes they are enrolled in and the status of their training.

Does Wisenet integrate with ITR?

Wisenet does not have an integration with ITR online.

You can choose to work with third party developers to build an integration using our API end points. If you do not have access to our API, please log a support ticket and we will be happy to assist.
