Learner Positions are used for Work-Based Reporting in New Zealand. They may also be adapted for internal use by organisations in any country.

Add a new Learner Position – New Zealand
- Navigate to LRM > Learners > Selected Training Agreement > Detail
- Click Action > Add Learner Position
- Set the Link to existing Learner Position toggle to NO
- Click Add
- Select a Workplace
- Select a Position
- If, on the Training Agreement, the For Reporting toggle is set to ON, you will see these fields:
- Employer Subdivision Name
- Territorial Authority
- Occupation Code
- Employment Type
- (Optional) Enter a Start Date
- (Optional) Enter an End Date
- (Optional) Select a Workplace Type
- (Optional) Select a Workplace Contact
- Click Save

Add a new Learner Position – other countries
- Navigate to LRM > Learners > Selected Training Agreement > Detail
- Click Action > Add Learner Position
- Set the Link to existing Learner Position toggle to NO
- Click Add
- Select a Workplace
- Select a Position
- (Optional) Enter a Start Date
- (Optional) Enter an End Date
- (Optional) Select a Workplace Type
- (Optional) Select a Workplace Contact
- Click Save

Link to an existing Learner Position
- Navigate to LRM > Learners > Selected Training Agreement > Detail
- Click Action > Add Learner Position
- Set the Link to existing Learner Position toggle to YES
- Select a Learner Position
- Click Add

Edit a Learner Position
- Navigate to LRM > Learners > Selected Training Agreement > Detail
- Click the Learner Position title
- The Edit Learner Position drawer opens
- Update one or more of the fields:
- Workplace
- Position
- Employer Subdivision Name (NZ only – see note)
- Territorial Authority (NZ only – see note)
- Occupation Code (NZ only – see note)
- Enrolment Type (NZ only – see note)
- Start Date
- End Date
- Workplace Type
- Workplace Contact
- Click Save.
