What is BI Reporting?
Wisenet contains many ways to interact with your data via Reports, Filtered Lists and Dashboards. While we are continually enhancing these features, customers are always seeking ways to get more customised insights from their Wisenet data and other data sources.
Customers are building out their own BI Reporting in order to:
- Have more control in your reporting and insights
- BI tools are not just limited to a tech team and hence are accessible to the wider business
- Centralised, current data means all teams are working on the same datasets. No longer multiple versions of the truth.
- Connect and interact with data from different sources
- Data analysis is more accurate and takes less time
There are so many amazing resources that already exist regarding BI Reporting. If you are new to BI Reporting we recommend conducting your own research into:

Example Insights and Actions
Each business has their own unique DNA and hence will have variances in their BI Reporting goals and outcomes. Ultimately you are trying to determine what actions you need to implement within your business. You then work backwards from here to determine what insights and data are required to make informed decisions.
It is important to spend a lot of time in this phase to ensure that you spend time solving the right problems.

Each section in Wisenet is available via Data Models that can be queried and joined to transform your raw data into easy-to-understand, interactive dashboards, charts and reports. This provides greater transparency and insights to make smart and confident data driven decisions.
