How To Test Your Data Import

The data import testing process is a vital stage of the onboarding process. Inadequate testing here can lead to a lot of headaches after Go-Live. The more work you do up front, the easier your Go-Live cut over will be.

You are reviewing the imported data for:

  • count of records
    • missing records
    • duplicated records
  • incorrectly mapped fields
  • unmapped fields
  • anything else that doesn’t seem right
