We’re pleased to announce the successful implementation of the following updates for the August 2025 Single Data Return (SDR) submission:
1. Course Register Enhancements
The following two new fields are added to the Unit page in Wisenet LRM and will be included in the SDR Course Register file (REGT).

2. Reinstatement of Apprenticeship Field
The Managed Apprenticeship field has been reinstated under the new name Apprenticeship in the August SDR and is reported in the SDR Course Enrolment file (ENRL).
It is called ‘Is Apprenticeship’ in Wisenet LRM and can be updated in the unit enrolment > compliance section.
3. Final-Year Fees Free Implementation
In line with the shift to Final-Year Fees Free, new mandatory reportable fields have been added to support entitlement processing.

The following fields now prioritise values from the CourseUnit. If a value exists there, it will be reported from CourseUnit; otherwise, the value will be reported from the Unit.

Additional Notes
Foreign Fee
The total Foreign Fee value in the Learner file (LEAR) is the sum of all the Learner’s Unit Enrolment Foreign Fees in this export period where the Unit Enrolment Fund Source = 02
If the Fund Source is NOT = 02 then the Foreign Fee will be set to 0.
These enhancements ensure full alignment with updated TEC compliance requirements and support a more automated, accurate data reporting process.
