How To Manually Add / Update VSN to a Learner

When you manually update the VSN, there are three VSN selection options:

  1. Yes, I have a VSN (you must enter a a valid VSN which is reported to the VSR)
  2. No, I have never had a VSN (do not enter any VSN because ‘No’ reports the VSN as blank value to the VSR)
  3. Unknown – this is the default (do not enter any VSN because ‘Unknown’ reports the VSN as ‘888888888’ to the VSR)
Before you begin:

Required Knowledge: VSN

Required Portal Access: Admin

Navigate to LRM

Update settings manually

If you know the VSN, when enrolling the Learner after completing the AVETMISS details page:

  1. Click Save and edit client details
  2. Scroll down to the Other section
  3. Click Yes, I have a VSN and enter the VSN number
  4. Click Save and Finish

  1. Open the relevant Learner’s profile page
  2. In the Action Menu, Click Edit
  3. Scroll down to the Other section
  4. Click Yes, I have a VSN and enter the VSN number
  5. Click Save and Finish (or ‘Save and edit AVETMISS details’ if applicable)
