Introducing DSR Export
The Data System Refresh (DSR) programme is designed to simplify data collection and submissions for Tertiary Education Organisations (TEOs) and Private Training Establishments (PTEs) to report data in a single portal.
Wisenet allows you to prepare and export DSR Reporting based on selected criteria.

Set Up and Prepare for Correct Reporting
If you are required to complete SDR reporting, you must incorporate specific SDR field collection and processes when setting up the basics for course delivery. The requirements change slightly depending on how you set up your Wisenet database for correct reporting.
- Have all the basic setups in Wisenet, such as Course Offers, Learners and Enrolment.
- IMPORTANT: Refer to the SDR/DSR Outline for guidance on specific Fields required when setting up the basics. This is important as it will help set up correct reporting for all your SDR courses.
- Use the following articles as further guidelines on SDR Files and Fields:
- Field Guidelines
- SDR/DSR File Guidelines outline each field that is in the SDR files and provide required information regarding collection and location in Wisenet
- While not strictly required it is recommended to prepare for reporting as it allows you to proactively complete your Data Integrity Checksto ensure the right amount of data is being reported accurately.
- Recommended Reports to use for SDR:
- Report #2074 to see which qualification completion records should appear in the SDR
- Report #2001 to check that all required fields have been completed in learner demographics records
- Report #2032 recommended for pre-SDR check to look for:
- Unit Enrolment Start dates before the start of the export year
- Unit Enrolment End dates after the end of the export year
- Report #2025 to check that all mandatory fields for your Courses are completed correctly
- Report #2046 to check that all mandatory fields for your Units are completed correctly

Export Errors
After Submission
After your export has been submitted there may still be errors.
The error descriptions and how to fix them can be found on the SDR/DSR Export Errors page or refer to the SDR Manuals and Appendices.
These can be fixed in two ways:
- Go into each record and amend the field
- If the error messages are identical, the bulk update function can fix the errors. How to Bulk Update
