Wisenet Report: Audit Log

The Audit Log allows users with an Admin Security Level to view who last updated a data within Wisenet.

It is designed to assist you with internal audits and help you identify Wisenet users who may require additional training.  For example, you can view who last updated Results or Learner Adress details or Funding Contracts.

See the list of Audit Reports below and follow the steps on how to generate an Audit Log report by clicking on the + sign below:

How To Generate Audit Logs
  1. Navigate to LRM > Reports
  2. On the Left Navigation Bar, click Audit Log
  3. When the Audit Log screen appears – select your audit criteria using the following dropdown lists:
    • Source: Select the Wisenet Section that you wish to run the audit on. When you first open the Audit Log, the default is All Sources.
      • Note: If you need to check who last updated results, Select ClientUnitOfferReg in the Source Dropdown list
    • User: Select the Wisenet user you wish to audit. You can also choose All Users (this is the default).
    • Date Range: Select the date range you wish to audit
  4. Click Search – The search results will now appear in a grid and will show:
    • Source: Section of Wisenet
    • UserName: User who added / edited record (If a student updated their record via Learner App – the student’s name will be listed)
    • TimeStamp: date and time of change
    • Event: There a three possible events:
      • I ‘Insert’: new record added
      • U ‘Update’: existing record modified
      • D ‘Delete’: data deleted (Delete’s are not currently logged in the system)
    • Field identifiers: Identifying information regarding which record was updated
  5. If you wish to further narrow your results, you can type in information in the relevant field box and press Enter

Note:

  • While the Audit Log result is not designed as a printable report, you can try to print it by doing a screen dump
  • The Audit Log is in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and this CANNOT be changed
