How To Add, Edit or Delete Unit Offers

Units attached to a Course Offer are known as Unit Offers. They inherit key information such as delivery location, funding information and dates from the Course Offer. These value can then be modified as required per Unit Offer.

Add Unit Offers
  1. Open the relevant Course Offer
  2. In the Left Navigation Bar, click Unit Offers
  3. On the top right select Click Action and Select Add / Edit Unit Selection
  4. A list of Units for the course will appear , Tick the relevant Unit/s that you wish to add
    • Note:
      • Any Units previously added will be ticked by default
      • If the relevant Unit is not displaying, you will need to add it to the list
  5. Below the list of Units in the Action Menu, Select Confirm Unit Selection
  6. You will now receive a confirmation of the number of Units added – click Confirm

If you generally deliver your Units in groups these can be created.

Note

  • Unit Offer start and end dates will default to the Course Offer start and end date. It is recommended that you modify the Unit Offer start and end dates where you are setting up a Course Offer for Fixed Date Enrolment types or where you are setting a Course Offer for Short Courses. This allows the Learner to have correct Unit Enrolment dates immediately on enrolment.

Change or Delete Unit Offers
  1. Open the relevant Course Offer
  2. In the Left Navigation Bar, click Unit Offers
  3. On the top right click Action and Add / Edit Unit Selection
  4. A list of Units listed for the Course will appear – any Units already selected with be ticked, to:
    • Add Units: Click the relevant Unit/s
    • Remove Units: Unclick the relevant Unit/s (see note below)
  5. Under the list of units click Action and Confirm Unit Selection
  6. You will now receive a confirmation of the number of units added and deleted – click Confirm

Important note about Removing Unit Offers

  • Any Unit Offers that have enrolments attached can not be deleted – the checkbox will be greyed out to indicate this. You will need to remove any enrolments first
  • Any Units which was assigned to either a Unit Group or Unit of Study can not be removed – The Unit Group or Unit of Study has to be deleted first

How to Add or Remove a Unit Enrolments

Add Unit Offer from a one Course Offer to another Course Offer for one Learner Only
  1. Navigate to LRM > Unit Offers
  2. In the Left Navigation Bar, click Add New
  3. In the Unit Dropdown box type in the Unit that you need (Please make sure that you select the Unit from the right Course)
  4. In the Course Offer Dropdown box select the Course Offer that you want to add the Unit to
  5. Click Continue
  6. Navigate to LRM > Learners (Clients) and open the relevant Learner’s profile page
  7. In the Enrolment Section, Click on the relevant Course Offer
  8. On the Course Offer page Click Action and Select Add
  9. Select the Unit from the list
  10. The Learner will now be enrolled into the new Unit and this will have no effect on any other Learner
